About Us
Consisting of Adrian Tonceanu (Vocals/Guitars), Igor Lazebnik (Vocals/Guitars) and Tyler Koch (Drums/Backup Vocals) Morre was born in early 2008 in Toronto Canada, by the common thirst of creating an original, dynamic yet accessible sound. This band has a unique story behind its upbringing. Traveling through different parts of the world, each member endured hardships as artists, as well as the joys of meeting new characters throughout their journeys. These elements give the band endless topics and depth to their lyrical and musical content. Combining dark, mystical themes with camp-fire vibe, this band will trigger a wide range of emotions in their listeners. With a deeply rooted musical knowledge these three rockers managed to craft an elaborate yet easily digestible sound of their own, using auxiliary instruments, vintage organ and recording methods. Morre’s influences are so vast that it’s hard to place them in a category of recycled rock. Though they are a classic rock band, it’s almost like they found a fresh sound that was not explored. If one was to describe the band’s style, the closest ancestors would be “Paint it black” (Rolling Stones) and “Kashmir” (Led Zeppelin). The selling point of this band is that it doesn’t sound like any other band.
By performing at several venues throughout Ontario and Quebec, the band managed to catch the attention of various labels in the early stages of their existence as well as attracting audiences of all age groups. As a result the band got signed to USA based label “Melodic Revolution Records” in January of 2011. With a powerful live delivery reinforced by conviction and strong dynamics, Morre keeps the audience in the palm of their hands. The band is very charismatic and treats their audience with class, respect, making everyone an ally.
One of the many unique characteristics of the band is defined by a Queen-esque ability to all sing in harmony. The two distinct sounding singers/guitar players (Igor and Adrian) give the band a panned stereo flavour that will make you bend back and forth between the left and right speakers of your stereo system. These two songwriters create music that is honest and it is delivered in the authenticity of their voices. Adrian’s smoky-lounge baritone (some of the influences: David Gilmour, Jim Morrison, David Bowie, David Gahan and etc.) and Igor’s raspy melodic tenor voice (some of the influences: Layne Staley, Eddie Vedder, Mike Patton and etc) complement each other, giving the band many options with a rare edge. Both Adrian and Igor are lead/rhythm guitar players with many common influences such as David Gilmour, Slash, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Ritchie Blackmore and more. Tyler’s diverse drumming and ability to personalize each song is an integral part of the overall sound. Combining a Ginger Baker/Keith Moon stage persona and style, Tyler is hardly the guy at the back, sharing the spotlight. Morre is known to hire professional bassists for specific events or for their tours which explains why there is always a new face, a fourth member in the band.
Their two records “…Out There” and “Contrast” released in 2010 and 2011 are selling consistently throughout the world, gaining highly acclaimed reviews in North America, Europe and Australia. The albums were featured on many radio shows throughout the above mentioned continents touching a wide demographic range. These albums established Morre as an original sounding band and carved a unique path that can be recognized from the first seconds of any of their songs.
In 2011 Morre toured Europe successfully for two and half months playing in 12 countries over 33 concerts as well as taking part of radio shows and interviews for magazines. Upon their return to North America they also played in USA part of the Clinton Arts and Music Festival sharing the stage with many great artists. Currently the band is working on their 3rd record entitled “Morphine” with the deadline set for April 2012. Morre will tour Europe again in 2012 for over three and a half months in the summer/fall of 2012 with the aim of performing in at least 15 countries.
“To sum up Morre, they are like a Led Zeppelin Pinot Noir. Take the sound of Led Zeppelin, add in a bit of modernization, a dash of World flavour, and let age in your iPod.”, Craig Wettner (Blogs N’ Roses)

Brand New Tide
Let's go!
I can't deny it
When I'm awake I'm haunted by desires
And I seem to like it
When I'm on the edge down to the wire
Searching for wonders around me
I'm restless once again
No one can ground or outrun me (just try it)
So here I come, with a brand new tide
I'm having visions
And trying to blend them with reality
And every made decision
Holds the dice of my destiny
Searching for wonders around me
I'm restless once again
No one can ground or outrun me (just try me)
So here I come, with a brand new tide
Over and over I keep coming back
Running in circles that can't stay intact
Sober illusions are rushing my heart
Bringing me back to a start
Set me off!
Searching for wonders around me
I'm restless once again
No one can ground or outrun me (you know it)
So here I come, with a brand new tide
With a brand new tide
Don't try and stop me
I wonder what's out there for me
In My Vein
It's been a while
Blood's still in my veins
You were happier back when
Our eyes have seen the same
Oh in my vein, it goes to show that
I, look to the sky
With no intentions
How did I get so high?
I, looked in your eyes
I saw deception
Don't put this life on trial
That's all you know
It's been some time
Now blood is on your hands
I'm still here right now, you know
But I'm just not the same, oh
There was a time
When we fought the waves
It's seems like a long time ago
Now we drown ourselves
To forget what flows in these veins
I, look to the sky
With no intentions
How did I get so high?
I, looked in your eyes
I saw deception
Don't my life on trial
That's all you you've shown
Never, never forget!
Why would you look and try to find
a ghost trapped in the past?
How would you feel if our blood could drip with words
that never last?
I, look to the sky
With no intentions
How did I get so high?
I, looked in your eyes
I saw deception
Don't my life on trial
In my vein
In my vein
Playing With Fire
It burns inside
Tell me
How come every time you come around
You save your confidence
Maybe
Why don't you just be yourself for once
And show your true self
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire baby
You're playing with fire
And you know that it burns, so bad
Right now!
It burns inside
Tell me
How come all the rumors going 'round
Defy the truth I know
And lately
Wicked lies are washed up on the shore
So I'll say no more
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire baby
You're playing with fire
And you know that it burns, so bad
Right now!
You're playing with fire, yeh
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire
And you know what goes around comes around,
You know that darling
C'mon C'mon
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire
You're playing with fire baby
You're playing with fire
And you know that it burns, so bad
Right now!
Screaming Dream
Lost in a dream
Left your heart out
Couldn't be there when it hurt
You said that's fine
Cause it feels like home
Screaming dream
I feel you there I know you're there
Somewhere
You come and go
Every time you're near, I'll reach out for you
Close my eyes in fear, to forgive the truth
Screaming dream
I hear you there in whispers of the wind
"I'm here"
Show to me, show to me, now!
"Don't disappear"
Abandoned out there
The trace of footsteps in the sand
That we left behind
Was swept away
Every time you're near, I'll reach out for you
Smoke and mirrors is all I ever offered you
Just come back home, where you belong
Screaming, screaming dream
You never show to me, no
You come and go, hey hey yeah
Screaming dream
Your shadow keeps on haunting me
Please let me be
Set me free, free
One last time...
Come back!
Come back!
The Moment
Gather 'round my friends
Let us undertake this moment
Sing this song with me
And release your mind from all your worries
Feel the sensation of hope
Feel the vibration that shakes the ground (feel it)
It's in your head, in the way you look
Between the lines of an open book
Don't try to hide it cause you'll find yourself
Giving in!
Place your feeble hearts
And forget all you acknowledge
Free your visions now
And regain your conscious courage
Feel the elevation, of your soul
Feel the temptation, to lose control (feel it)
It's in your head, in the way you look
Between the lines of an open book
Don't try to hide it cause you'll find yourself
Giving in!
Paint this world your own...
Every path you cross
There's one thing you should remember
There's no right or wrong
It's only what you choose
It's in your head, in the way you look
Between the lines of an open book
Don't try and hide it cause you'll find yourself
Giving in!
Don't give in!
Time Is Slipping Away
Drifting Astray
Drifting Astray
"It's all happening so fast
On the wings of a butterfly
Just fly me away"
Time is slipping away
Try to seize the day
Time is slipping away
Try and seize the day
Drifting Astray
Drifting Astray
"Now at last on broken wings
The sun will bleed onto the ground
Just take me away"
Time is slipping away
Try to seize the day
Time is slipping away
Try to seize the day
Time is slipping away
Try to seize the day
Time is slipping away
Try to seize the day
Time is slipping away
Times Are Changing
Look at the world going 'round
Look at the endless commotion
Faster than the speed of sound
We're riding the waves of the oceans
All of the winds blowing by
Are winding along down the way
Cause now...
Times are changing
Times are changing
Times are changing
Look at the years going by
Look at the dreams we are chasing
Millions of people deny
The facts we can never replace, and
All of the deeds we have done
Have followed the path of our instincts
And now...
Times are changing
Times are changing
Times are changing
It's the call of the wild
And we all come alive
As the world turns around
We won't, we won't, we won't, we won't
Change!
Under The Lights
Ashing off a cigarette
In the alleyway
Many dancing silhouettes
Dissolve in shades of gray
Looking for the thrill of living
Through clouded eyes
Waiting to get off this never-ending ride
(Ruuuun)
Nowhere to run away
Under the lights
(Ruuuun)
Nowhere to run away
When curtains rise
Catching glimpses of strangers
Through the rising dust
Candles light up the faces
With burning lust
Fading smiles, left behind
For another day
Heavy eyes, trying to find a place to stay
(Ruuuun)
Nowhere to run away
Under the lights
(Ruuuun)
Nowhere to run away
When curtains rise
All the way up to the clouds
How many miles
Before the sun will shine
(Ruuuun)
Nowhere to run away
Under the lights
(Ruuuun)
Nowhere to run away
When curtains rise
(Ruuuun)
Racing against the clock
(Ruuuun)
So this the end of the road
So long!
Winding Roads
Lost touch with what was mine
We are forever wandering souls
Lost touch with what was mine
We are forever winding roads
Your love
The only real thing!
Winding roads On winding roads there's no horizons
(Open your eyes)
What could have been Let me know you inside out
To cure your love
Let me know you inside out
To cure your pain Lost touch with what was mine
We are forever wandering souls
Lost touch with what was mine
We are forever winding roads
Your love
The only real thing! Winding roads
Winding roads On winding roads we take our chances
(Forever more)
Mesmerized by your love's nuances Let me know you inside out
To cure your love
Let me know you inside out
To cure your pain Forever winding! Let me know you inside out
To cure your love, your love!
Let me know you inside out
To cure your pain Lost touch with what was mine (what was mine)
We are forever wandering souls (wandering souls)
Lost touch with what was mine (what was mine)
We are forever winding roads (winding roads)
Your love
The only real thing!
Lady Of Lust
There she sits alone
Queen of her throne
Her hair is darker than my soul
But the fire in her eyes
Is enough to twist my world around Who is this woman I can't trust?
And how can I make her mine?
Who is this lady full of lust?
I can't clear the dust from my eyes She's waiting in her place
But through the mist and haze
I can't find my way to her Constricted by her smile
She keeps me paralyzed
Like sweet venom in my blood Who is this woman I can't trust?
And how can I make her mine?
Who is this lady full of lust?
I can't clear the dust from my eyes Taken by the storm
I couldn't stay calm
As time stood still... Who is this woman I can't trust?
I'm gonna make her mine
Who is this lady full of lust?
I can't clear the dust from my eyes I can't let go
I can't let go
I want her so
Stray Dog
Roaming through your city like a stray dog
No money no shelter no fear of the above
I want you to know
Wherever I lay I call home
Substance infused the damage is done
My life
Is measured in bitter chapters Walking the mile, I'll stay for a while
Play you a tune until the moon will rise
In your hollowed eyes,
I'm living today what most live in one lifetime! Rising from the ashes of whatever I loved
New skin to touch new hearts to mold
I'm lonely
Lonely but not alone Roaming through your city the night calls
Withdrawals set in when the moon falls
I wonder
How long until I'll fold? Walking the mile, I'll stay for a while
Play you a tune until the moon will rise
In your hollowed eyes,
I'm living today what most live in one lifetime! AHHHHHH
Oh yeah! Coming to your city you ring your bells
I'm a gambling man I got no tells
I look
For thrills far from home Roaming through your city I'm no trained dog
No money no shelter don't tag along
I'll stand
At the edge of the crowd Walking the mile, I'll stay for a while
Play you a tune until the moon will rise
In your hollowed eyes,
I'm living today what most live in one lifetime! AHHHHHH
Oh yeah!
I Can't Remember
I can't remember
How it feels to be alive
I can't remember
Memories have dimmed the lights
I've planted flowers that have died
It's where the sun has never shined
Casted shadows left me blind I can't remember
How it feels expressing words
I can't remember
All the bridges I have burned In the poems of my life
Pages of unwanted rhymes
Endless chapters that escape my mind
One day I still hope to find When?
Have you forsaken me?
I tried to be the best that I could be
But now it's been too long
To fill the void Please set me free again When?
Will you believe in me?
I'll try to be the best that I can be
But now it seems too late
To fill the void I can't remember
How it feels to love
I can't remember
How it feels to have enough
I can't remember
How it feels to give my heart away
I can't remember
Renegades
Running like the renegades
Telling tales and chanting serenades
Of our lives, of our times
With no disguise
Listening to the rhythms intertwine
With our hearts, beating fast
It never seems to last Walking through eternal fires
Bonfires of trust never burn through the ashes
As the spirit never dies
There's no escaping the smoke in our hungry eyes Sailing closer to the winds
Strumming endless chords on rusted strings
Something's gotta give As we're singing through the years
Music that will bring you smiles and tears
To you eyes, to your eyes
And time keeps rolling on Walking through eternal fires
Bonfires of trust never burn through the ashes
As the spirit never dies
There's no escaping the smoke in our hungry eyes We'll be coming back
We'll be coming back Walking through eternal fires
Bonfires of trust never burn through the ashes
As the spirit never dies
There's no escaping the smoke in our hungry eyes Walking through eternal fires
Bonfires of trust never burn to the ashes
As the spirit never dies
There's no escaping the smoke in our hungry eyes
Bring You Back
Remember the time
We watched shooting stars
But now when I look up
I can't feel you
I can't see you
Anymore
We surrendered our hearts
But now that I'm floating
So peacefully
With my eyes open wide How could you lose, how could you lose
What you had for me
What you've given me
You promised to keep
This love that could never be torn Easing the pain
I sit here alone by your shadow, your shadow
Humming these words that cannot
Bring you back
Bring you back Remember our kiss
Down by the river
The touch of your lips
So frozen
Like the stars in the sky I look at the trees
Shedding their leaves
But now as they're falling
They're shaping
The bed I lay in How could you lose, how could you lose
What you had for me
What you've given me
You promised to keep,
This love that could never be torn Easing the pain
I sit here alone by your shadow, your shadow
Humming these words that cannot
Bring you back
Bring you back Down by the river
A touched love
So frozen How could you lose, how could you lose
What you had for me
What you've given me
You promised to keep,
This love that could never be torn Easing the pain
I sit here alone by your shadow, your shadow
Humming these words that cannot
Bring you back
Bring you back

MORRE “Contrast” Album Review
Review by Mike Yorke from LiveMusic TO (http://www.livemusicto.com) “MORRE is a 3-piece band based out of Toronto, Canada, and they are classified to be in the Rock genre. They have released two albums, “Out There” in 2009, and their latest, “Contrast EP”, in 2011. The Toronto-based group has a very bold and unique, yet catchy sound, with the roots of legendary Rock’n’Roll icons such as Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, and Pearl Jam; as far as the modern-rock base of Creed, the Tea Party, and Disturbed. This can be heard in tracks such as “Lady of Lust” and “Winding Roads”. With their scorching riffs and finger picking solos, they will make you want to rock out for hours, giving you an endless head-banging party. After listening to Contrast EP front to back, I would HIGHLY recommend giving these guys a tryout for your iTunes roster.”

MORRE Album Review (Contrast)
Review by Andrea Garrison from All Voices (allvoices.com), Onlinewithandrea (onlinewithandrea.com) “While I am reflecting on Morre, this wonderful band from Canada I am listening to Contrast their latest CD released on The Melodic Revolution Records label. Believe me at this moment while listening to Morre I am not sitting still. Each tune just flows perfectly and melodiously from one to the next. Individually each track stands solid adding a special dimension to the entire CD experience. I love their sound which is why I play their music so often on my radio program and I will continue to do so. Morre is exciting and one of the best independent bands on the music scene today. They are excellent musicians with a great, carefully produced, meticulous sound and they have an amazing stage presence which is obvious by watching their videos. If there is any band on the scene today that deserves to be recognized on a global scale it is definitely Morre. They are more than studio musicians. They are ready to take the show on the road in a big way. I am looking forward to their next release and I am also looking forward to seeing Morre live. I guarantee that with Morre you will always get more than you bargained for and you will always want to hear and see more of Morre. I can just see it and feel it. For more information on Morre visit www.morremusic.com, melodicrevolutionrecords.com and listen to the Onlinewithandrea interview with Morre.” Link to source
MORRE Album Review (Contrast)
Review by Grouchy Gaijin (http://grouchygaijin.com/) “If you like well thought out, exceptionally played rock that features vocals by singers that can really sing and players that can play with the ferocity of demons and the grace of angles then you will like Morre. The guitars are killer – they can go from the beautiful and haunting (the beginning of Winding Roads) to absolutely screaming (the solo on I Can’t Remember). Then there is Tyler Koch. What can I say? As an old drummer, I’m a fan, Tyler. I said before and it still holds true, I want to see these guys live just so I can watch Tyler Koch do his thing. The man is a lead drummer. The thing that sets these guys apart is just how talented all three of them are. Most bands have one guy that stands out, not Morre though. Each of these guys is simply a monster player. When you add vocals that are well, fantastic, you have some serious magic. The vocals on every track match the music in intensity and quality. There is not a bad song on the album; in fact I have a hard time picking out a favorite track. This is a great album that I wholeheartedly recommend.” Link to source
MORRE Album Review (…Out There)
Classic Rock Society (UK Magazine) (www.classicrocksociety.co.uk)
“I’m rather impressed with this eight track debut from the young Canadian 3-piece (Adrian Tonceanu (Vocals/Guitars), Igor Lazebnik (Vocals/Guitars) and Tyler Koch (Drums/Backing Vocals)). There’s a maturity to their impressively varied song arrangements which gives plenty of depth to their considered guitar-rock. Professing their “world sound” to be a combination of “Paint it black” and “Kashmir”, there are indeed elements of rock history as they begin to forge their own sound. They already have a lot going from them: excellent harmonies above striking rhythms, nifty riffs over acoustic and electric textures, and a confident and clear sound. It’s a short album, (less is Morre, I suppose), but we’ll soon hear more of them with second release “Contrast” due out shortly”
MORRE Album Review (…Out There)
Blogs N’ Roses (blogsnroses.com)”They let their musical skills shine through. And shine they do! Intricate melodies, multi tracked vocals, and precise rhythm all combine to create earworms (songs that stay with you days after hearing them). Morre’s songs are like audio syphilis – dangerously contagious. To sum up Morre, they are like a Led Zeppelin Pinot Noir. Take the sound of Led Zeppelin, add in a bit of modernization, a dash of World flavor, and let age in your iPod. I guarantee you Morre will age like fine wine and you will come back for Morre.”

MORRE Album Review (…Out There)
MyGlobalMind Webzine (Australian Magazine) (myglobalmind.com)”Coming out of Canada with all the ferocity of a tsunami comes new classy melodic rockers MORRE, who with their radio-friendly sound should surely be set to blow up big time real soon. The music found on …OUT THERE definitely has a modern tinge to it, but also has all of the mentality and appeal of some of the great guitar bands of the past like CREAM, LED ZEPPELIN, PINK FLOYD… The overall feeling I got about the album was that it was very classy and should have mega-appeal to anyone that likes their music with some heart & soul mixed with the rockness. …OUT THERE is an album that has been expertly written, virtouistically played and produced perfectly, and for a debut album I must admit it is truly breathtaking in places.” More here
MORRE Album Review (…Out There)
C.W.Ross (writercwross.wordpress.com)”the bands that I’ve been hearing from are putting out some good music and the latest band that fits into that category is named Morre. The band based out of Toronto plays a brand of classic rock that also adds in some modern elements to keep their sound fresh. The band’s music features a multi-guitar and dual vocals attack in their songs. Most of the songs found on …Out There are guitar driven and are peppered with short guitar solos that are found throughout them. The vocals are strong and offer up a lot of vocal harmonies in them.” More here
MORRE Album Review (…Out There)
The Grouch (www.grouchygaijin.com)”Morre is a 4 piece with a throw back to the old guitar bands of yesterday. What I mean is that in their band they have two guys who could easily play lead in any band they choose. What makes these guys special is how well they work together. Throw into the mix a drummer who simply smokes and a very solid bass player and you have the makings of what could become a super group.”
MORRE Album Review (…Out There)
Strutter Magazine”A hidden gem? MORRE is a Toronto/Canada based band and somehow I have not read much about this little known act and that is a pity, because from out of nowhere they sent me their CD ‘Out there’, which contains very strong original Melodic Rock. They play original clever rock music with clear AOR (Album Oriented Rock) melodies, yet the difference with many AOR bands is that their arrangements in each and every song are not at all standard melodic rock based, because the tempo changes a lot and the use of acoustic guitars is giving MORRE a rather unique overall sound. I am quite sure the AOR fans will love this band a lot, but I think they can easily reach a wider audience thanks to their QUEEN meets LED ZEPPELIN meets PINK FLOYD kinda arrangements.”
MORRE LIVE at Lee’s Palace Review
Alex Young from Fazer Magazine (fazermagazine.com)
“Morre is a sly and sleazy rock and roll band from Toronto. With their massive sound, mystical twin vocalists and a mesmerizing stage show, they have enough attitude to tear many modern rock acts to shreds. Morre brings music back to a primal and ritualistic experience. It puts the audience into a trance with the tribal elements of their sound, like the band are shamans of psychedelic grooves drowned in distortion.”
